Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our in-browser privacy architecture.

How does Nimbzo process files without uploading them?

Modern web browsers are capable of running complex code locally using WebAssembly, HTML5 Canvas, and native JavaScript APIs. When you drop an image or PDF into Nimbzo, the file is read directly into your device RAM and processed on your computer or phone. No network upload is ever initiated.

Why are all tools completely free to use?

Because file processing happens entirely on your local device hardware, we incur zero expensive cloud server compute or file storage costs. This enables us to offer fast, private utilities without paywalls, sign-up requirements, or watermarks.

Can I use these tools while offline or on airplane mode?

Yes. Once a tool page is loaded in your browser tab, the client-side code and WebAssembly binaries remain in local cache. You can disconnect your internet completely and continue converting, compressing, and signing documents.

How can I independently confirm that my files are private?

Open your browser Developer Tools (press F12 on Windows/Linux or Cmd+Option+I on Mac) and click on the "Network" tab. When you process a file, watch the requests list: you will see zero outgoing file uploads or document transmissions.
