What it does — and what it doesn't
Your invoice is built as a vector PDF document using the @cantoo/pdf-lib library (MIT license, lazy-loaded after you click Generate). Fonts, layout coordinates, logo images, and text are composed entirely inside your browser tab. The library is fetched once and cached by the browser. In our verified test lab, a 3-line-item invoice (654 bytes of input data) produced a 3,608-byte PDF in 30 milliseconds with zero network requests.
Limits and browser boundaries
- Single-page layout designed for up to 12 line items on a standard A4 (595 × 842 point) page.
- Non-ASCII currency symbols (BDT ৳, INR ₹) are displayed correctly in the browser UI; the PDF falls back to the 3-letter currency code prefix inside the document due to Helvetica font encoding constraints.
- This tool generates a template document. It does not constitute legal, accounting, or tax advice. You are responsible for compliance with your local tax authority requirements.

No. The tool automatically saves your work-in-progress to browser localStorage as you type. The next time you visit the page, your draft is restored instantly. You can also manually clear the draft using the Reset Draft button.
