About Nimbzo
Nimbzo is a collection of free tools for everyday image, PDF, and document tasks. Every tool runs entirely in your browser.
Private by design
When you use a Nimbzo tool, your file is processed on your device, in your browser, using standard web technology. Your files are never uploaded, because no server is involved in processing them at all.
You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network tab, and use any tool. You will see no file data sent anywhere. Processing happens after the page has loaded, so most tools even keep working if your connection drops mid-task.
Free, with no account
There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into. Because your files are processed locally, there is no account data and no file storage in the first place — when you close the tab, your file is gone from memory.
The site is free to use. It may later show advertising on tool and guide pages to cover hosting costs.
How it is built
Nimbzo is a static website. The heavy work — image conversion, PDF merging and splitting, QR generation — is done by open-source libraries that run in your browser. Each one is listed with its license on the open source licenses page.
The Nimbzo mobile app
Nimbzo also has a mobile app for travel and community features. It is separate from these browser tools. You can read more about it on the Nimbzo app page.
